CLASSIC - Testing AUX2 and WhizbangJr tips
Last Updated 6 years ago

So the GREEN LED on your Whizbang has stopped its 5 second FLASH routine.  Lets see what's quit.
First, let's see if AUX2 has failed.  You will need a digital VOM set on DC 20 volt scale.
Set AUX2 in the AUX setup menu to "NITE LIGHT" and SAVE with ENTER.
Go to the AUX CONTROL Page (AUX 1  AUX 2) at the top, use L/R arrows to move to AUX 2.
Now PRESS UP Arrow to set to MANUAL ON.
With the Whizbang still connected to AUX2 (+) (You didn't put it on AUX1 (+) did you??) The Green LED should come steady ON.
If it does we have the 12V out of AUX2 and it is fine, if NOT remove the purple wire from AUX2 (+).
Now use your DVM on 20VDC scale to read AUX2 (+) & (-) for 12-15 volts. (With MANUAL ON still ON in Nite Light)

If you have 12-15 volts then AUX2 is fine then you have other issues. (Like a busted Whizbang JR)
Did you use the SPACERS to space the WBjr up off the SHUNT? No, why not?  Refer to the WBjr manual.
Are the screws TOO LONG and the WBjr is flopping and not tight?  Use the 1/4" spacers on the top and smaller under the WBjr.
Is one end of the SHUNT connected to BATTERY NEGATIVE?
Direction of WBjr has purple wire pointing to the battery negative?

If you have NO 12-15 volts with NITE LIGHT set to manual ON with the WBjr unhooked then AUX2 has broken and the whole Classic will need to be sent back for repairs.
